Dnata Head Office Heathrow

dnata is one of the world’s largest air services providers. Established in 1959, the company ensures the aviation industry operates smoothly and efficiently in 75 airports. Offering ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering services in 38 countries across five continents, dnata is a trusted partner for over 250 airlines customers around the world. Each day, the company handles over 870 flights, carries over 7,650 tonnes of cargo, assists over 255,000 passengers, books over 15,000 hotel stays, and uplifts over 138,000 meals.

dnata entered the ground handling market in the United Kingdom in 2010, acquiring two of the UK’s leading airport operations - Plane Handling, providing ramp and cargo handling services at Heathrow Airport as well as cargo handling services at Manchester Airport. dnata also acquired Aviance’s passenger and ramp handling operations at Heathrow Terminals 3 and 4. Both businesses were re-branded as dnata as part of a global brand re-fresh in 2011. Today, dnata is one of the largest handlers at London Heathrow with 25,000 aircraft turnarounds and over 500,000 tons of cargo handled each year with its expansion into other key UK airports including Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham, East Midlands and London Gatwick.

With a requirement to refurbish the offices at their new operations and headquarters at London Heathrow airport, dnata enlisted the support of Hawk to fulfil all furniture requirements. The high-quality, value-for-money solution bringing cost efficiencies ensured future business at other UK airports will also be supported. Hawk joined forces with MB Office Interiors (Birmingham) to review the design and features in line with specifications provided by dnata.

Having worked with several suppliers, I have found Hawk and it’s partner MB Office Interiors (Birmingham) to be the most reliable, providing good value for money with a personal, yet professional, service. All work at Heathrow ran smoothly and we have already started work at our Manchester offices; the furniture complements the dnata brand perfectly and upholds the quality image that we promote.
